Chester Henderson referred to in the caption was the grandson of Robert Henderson who was for many years credited with the co-discovery of gold in the Klondike for his role in Carmack's discovery on Rabbit Creek.
Caption: Chester's home on the Klondike Highway, 14 miles south of Dawson. Chester was a woodcutter extraordinaire. Note the extensive and neat wood pile behind his cabin. Chester was also one of our greatest friends. 1964.
