Black and white panorama of Dawson City with the north end and Moosehide Slide visible. 1997.213.4, .5, .6 were three separate photographs that when joined together form a panorama.

Caption: The upper left, (2) the upper right and (3) the lower left pictures, taken together in that order form one panoramic view of Dawson. These three pictures were taken from the high hill on the west bank of the Yukon River, which is in the foreground, flowing north from right to left. The gash in the hillside above the town in the picture (1) is the "Slide", which occurred pre-white man's knowledge. The high point of the hill behind the town was called the "Midnight Dome" because of the view from there of the Midnight Sun.
