Colour view of the sign for Hydraulic Mining. The sign reads: Water from the Yukon Ditch was first used here on Lovett and Trail Hills in 1909 to feed giant monitors which uncovered gold from white channel gravels, the run off went through large sluice boxes which trapped the gold. 2,000 miner's inches of water (22,000 gals per min) were used.
