Multimedia Digitization

Multimedia digitization at the Dawson City Museum is made possible thanks to the generous support of the Government of Yukon, Community Development Fund.

Digitize Your Own Collection

You can digitize your own photographs, slides, posters, documents, blueprints, ephemera, 8mm and Super 8 films, VHS tapes, audio cassettes and other media at the Museum using our equipment.

The equipment is free for community use, but please bring your own USB flash drive or external hard drive to save your scans and digitized material. Training will be provided on the appropriate equipment, which includes:

  • Contex IQ4400 Quattro wide format scanner (maximum 44’)
