Photograph of Yukon River flood of May, 1979. View of corner of Queen Street and Front Street. The Klondike Nugget Shop and Dawson Artscraft shop were permanently damaged and were removed from their original sites.

Working women gathered each morning for coffee at the back of Artscraft.

Dawson Artscraft was next to the Flora Dora Hotel and was owned by Marlene and Jack Olson c1960s-1970s. They sold china, pendleton shirts, books and prints. At the time the Klondike Nugget Shop was owned by George and Agnes Shaw.
