The second in a series of five photographs taken near the proposed site for the construction of the second St. Mary's Hospital in Dawson at the north end of town. This photo was taken looking northeast right behind the original log-building hospital. The larger log house on the hillside was the residence of Frederick Tennyson Congdon, Yukon's Fourth Commissioner, before he moved into the Commissioner's Residence in 1903.
