Photograph of Twelve Mile Power House near completion in the summer of 1906. Lumber from the sawmill located down the Twelve Mile was used in the construction of the power house. Water for the power plant was tapped from the Little Twelve Mile River, and carried five and one-half miles by ditch and flume to a point above the power plant at an effective head 650 feet and the initial installation was about 1,650 horsepower. See 1984.234.179 and 180 for different view of same building.
