The original plan is titled as follows: Plan of Bonanza Townsite Situate Opposite the junction of Eldorado and Bonanza Creeks Troandik Mining Division Yukon District being lot 24 group 2 area 44. 44 acres dated October 3rd 1899 Scale 80 feet = 11 inch. The townsite of Bonanza was known locally as Grand Forks named for the hotel built by Belinda Mulrooney which was the start of the townsite.
