Five military men, most likely the Yukon Field Force stand in fur anoraks and fur mukluks holding rifles in front of a long log building with the man to the left blowing a bugle. Possibly 1900. The Yukon Field force was drawn from Canada's permanent militia and sent by the federal government to assist the Northwest Mounted Police between 1898 to 1900.
