A mining operation on 28 29 or 30 below Hunker with the Herkenraths and Gresler featured. A long sluice box runs down the center of the image with men working along side, one in the foreground holding a pan of gold with a woman serving coffee by a wheelbarrow in the background. The woman is identified as Helen Herkenrath and the man standing beside her with shovel over his shoulder is possibly a Herkenrath. The second man from the left at the sluice is possibly a Herkenrath and the man standing to the right with a shovel at the sluice is possibly a Herkenrath.
