The Bonanza Hotel sign

The sign reads: "The Bonanza Hotel. Nightly entertainment. Modern Conveniences Restaurant on the Premises, Non-drinking Photographers welcome. Non photographing drinkers welcome too....erected in 1899 has the oldest hotel bar in town...known as the Melbourne Hotel unti 1915 when the name was changed to The Principal and operated as such until 1942 when it became the Pearl Harbour. The bar was built in Chicago & used on the Barbary Coast in San Francisco. It was moved to Dawson in 1899."
