Black and white view of a street in Dawson City. According to the donor the first building on far left belonged to Alaska Commercial Co., later the first Pioneer Hall (Yukon Order of Pioneers) which burned in 1967. The next building, The Melbourne Hotel, later the Pearl Harbor, and in the 1970's, the Bonanza Hotel. The Pavilion Theater was a popular entertainment center, rivaling The Palace Grand Theater.

However, the Bonanza Hotel was only two storeys tall and in very close proximity to the Palace Grand Theatre. If that is the future Bonanza Hotel then the Palace Grand Theatre should be visible. on the right...and it is not.
