The barge used by the cable ferry is loaded with people and horses and is crossing the Yukon River. The view is looking towards Dawson from the west side. Warehouses and buildings along with the large tower can be seen. Bank of Commerce building can be seen along with some sternwheelers docked at shore and wharehouses. See also 1999.12.1.24.
