This photograph is identical to 1984.47.2 which is inscribed "Front St. Dawson July 4th 1899 Pole Vaulting Contest won by H. Wakefield" and was taken by E.A. Hegg. The creator of this album, Frederick Atwood was in partnership with George Cantwell who had briefly worked with E.A. Hegg, the photographer of the earlier photograph.
