Black and white view of a parade along Front Street. The parade is being led by officials wearing sashes on horseback. They are followed by the North-West Mounted Police [NWMP] and a band.
It is possible that this photograph is related to 2006.33.1.255 which shows a parade for July 4th 1900, although the plethora of American flags is not visible.
Businesses visible include: Law Office, Merchant's Cafe, the Canadian Bank of Commerce [note that this is not the building on Front Street], San Francisco Clothing House, P.J. Jephson Land Surveyor, The Bonanza, The Dominion and J.L. Sale Jeweller.
